Located in the idyllic beach-side community of Salt Village, Peppers Salt Resort & Spa is a mere 15-minute drive south of Gold Coast Airport.
The resort sits right next to the pristine and uncrowded Salt Beach along the Tweed coastline.
Within Salt Village, there are two other Peppers hotel properties — Peppers Bale and Mantra On Salt. There are also shops and restaurants, offering a wide variety of fare from Italian, Mediterranean, Thai, pizza, gelato, cafes, bars, and the award-winning gourmet seafood restaurant Fins by chef Steven Snow.
Our hotel room is located on the second floor with a king-sized bed.
The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and came with all the standard amenities. We had free wifi too.
The bathroom was also very clean, and all toiletries are provided except for toothbrush and toothpaste. If you’ve forgotten to bring your own toiletries, you can buy them at IGA Express (a mini-mart) in Salt Village.
On one side of the bathroom is the shower cubicle.
On the other side is the toilet cubicle.
Extra pillows, beach towels, mini safe, iron and ironing board are thoughtfully provided too.
There are chairs and a table on the balcony.
The room downstairs has its own private plunge pool!
The next morning, we had breakfast at Season Restaurant located within the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, and items were quickly replenished.
Besides breads and pastries, there were hot pancakes.
The hot foods station featured sausages, bacon, ham, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes, and baked beans.
There were also fresh fruit, fruit salads, yogurt, muesli, and cereals.
I love hotel breakfasts!
And hotel breakfasts are fun because I get to mix different kinds of cereals together. At home, we only have one kind of cereal at a time.
It was a pity that we didn’t get to explore more of the resort because of our tight itinerary. Hope to come back to Peppers Salt Resort another time in the future!
