My littlest baby Meredith turned 1 year old in October. To mark her 1st birthday, we had a small celebration at home with close family members. I didn’t have time to cook, and there were too few of us (less than 15 people) to order from buffet caterers where there’s usually a 30 pax minimum order.
So I ordered food from Lee Wee & Brothers’. They will deliver for free with a S$100 minimum order. I made my order via their delivery hotline, and found that they were responsive and prompt.
My delivery timing slot was between 4.30pm and 6pm on a Saturday. They arrived about 5pm plus. The food was still hot!
Lee Wee Brothers’ banana leaf otah is one of my favorite otahs, that’s why I ordered 20 pieces of it (see above). Each piece costs S$1.30.
The fried beehoon was moist and tasty, and still tasted good 3 hours later. They thoughtfully included a pair of tongs as well as a complimentary tub of sambal chilli.
We also ordered 20 pieces each of sotong ball (S$0.50 each, min. order 10) and fish ball (S$0.40 each, min. order 10).
The curry chicken smelled incredibly fragrant! They used fresh chicken, not frozen. The flavors and texture of the curry gravy hit the spot too.
My only complaint is that there were too many chicken breast pieces and not enough dark meat.
We liked that they were generous with the potato chunks, which were cooked to the perfect texture. The complimentary plastic ladle was also a thoughtful gesture.
The ikan bilis with peanut is rather addictive, luckily I ordered 2 tubs. The achar was less impressive; it was a bit too watery and lacked punch.
Overall, we had a pleasant first-time experience with Lee Wee & Brothers’ food delivery. Service was professional; taste-wise, the food met our expectations. The dishes arrived hot, neatly packaged, and tasted fresh.

And here’s my sweet little Meredith with her very first birthday cake!
I can’t remember the exact price for this 1kg cake, but I think it’s around S$48. We really like the pretty design of the cake. Taste-wise, it’d be perfect if there was less cream.
