Rosti and baked beans
Not the most orthodox pairing, but when I saw these two items in the kitchen pantry next to each other, I thought, “Hey, why not?”
Can’t take any chef’s credit for them. Baked beans came out of a Heinz can, and the rosti is from a Swiss Delice vacuum pack.
Fried the rosti in a HappyCall pan according to the instructions on the pack. Not bad-tasting for something that came out of a vacuum pack, but it’s not something we’re keen to buy again soon.
