Hot dog for breakfast? Why not?
Assembled today’s brekkie using pork sausages from the fresh delicatessen counter at NTUC FairPrice (usually only the bigger outlets have one), Gardenia hot dog buns, and a squiggly squirt of ketchup.
My usual modus operandi is to poach the sausages in boiling water, then place the heated sausage in a split and buttered bun that’s been warmed in the microwave. Garnish with ketchup (or any condiment you prefer), and voila! A filling and satisfying brekkie!
