I found a recipe to make the Kaya spread and will try on thick slice toasted bread called here in San Francisco Texas Toastin Bread which I use sometime for French Toast. In your last entry you did on congee or jook was there and where sell the most Famous Jook of them all Sampan Jook. Here in San Francisco it most popular due to lot of Hong Kongnese living in Bay Area.
