If you really want to visit the mecca of laksa then I would suggest you visit Zhen Shan Mei Claypot Laksa in Bukit Merah Lane 1, Alexandra Village.
{You do not have to pay as much as you paid at Prima Taste except for a little bit of sacrifice you have to do with cockles.
But the only thing is you have to wait for half an hour, but it is worth the taste.

I love Spore laksa. Tried it once at Katong which made me a fan. Sadly we can’t get it here so I have to live with our Curry Laksa and Assam Laksa instead.

I tried the one in Perth – though only tried the chicken rice set and it was good enough to satisfy the craving too
Next trip – laksa!
